The Tokeet Channel Manager allows you to connect your Tokeet account with various channels that list your rental. Connecting Tokeet to your channels allows you to keep your availability and rates synchronized and also provides new booking notification. This ensures that all of your channels automatically display the exact same information and avoids overbooking and other conflicts.

Availability synchronization is available for iCal and API integrated channels. By using the Channel Manager, Tokeet will become your central source for all availability and rate information. The Channel Manager will automatically pull any changes in availability from one channel and update your Tokeet calendar. It will also automatically update all other channels that are connected. So changes in availability made on one channel will be reflected on all connected channels, including your Tokeet calendar. It works the same way if you directly make changes to your Tokeet calendar. After you create a confirmed booking or hold event within your Tokeet dashboard Tokeet will automatically push this change in availability to all your channels. Please note that a few channels do not allow two way synchronization and only allow Tokeet to push information to them.

If you have an iCal connection with a channel and there is a change in availability, i.e. a new booking, made on that channel Tokeet will create a hold event for new booking. For channels connected via API, like booking.com, airbnb.com, and expedia.com, if there is a booking made on those channels then Tokeet handles the update using booking notification. Please read below for details on how booking notification works.

Rates synchronization is one way and only available for API integrated channels. With the Channel Manager you can push your rates from Tokeet into your channels. It’s important to ensure that your rates in Tokeet are accurate and complete before pushing these rates to your channels. Tokeet will completely overwrite the current rates in your channel and replace them with the rates in Tokeet for at least the next 12 months. Tokeet does not pull rates from other channels and only pushes rates. We recommend using Tokeet Rate Categories if you wish to have different rates on different channels.

Booking notification is also only available for API integrated channels. Whenever there is a booking made on these channels the channels will instantly and automatically notify Tokeet. Tokeet will then import all information associated with the booking and create a new confirmed booking in your dashboard. This will include guest information, reservation information, cost information, and any special requests made by the guest during booking. If there are updates or cancelations the channel will also notify Tokeet and Tokeet will update the confirmed booking accordingly. Please be sure to look at the notes within your booking to see important information regarding the booking.
